How long do the lights stay on at night?

After a full day of sunlight, the lights typically run 6–10 hours through the night. Run time depends on how much direct sun your location receives during the day — shaded areas may see shorter run times.

Are these truly weatherproof — rain, snow, cold?

Yes. IP65 waterproof rating protects against rain, sprinklers, and snow from any direction. The ultrasonic-welded ABS housing is also resistant to corrosion and rated for cold outdoor temperatures.

Do I need to drill holes or run any wiring?

No drilling, no wiring. Each light includes strong double-sided adhesive that sticks to smooth surfaces — painted wood, composite decking, stone, brick, or vinyl fencing. Clean the surface, peel the backing, and press firmly for 30 seconds.

Do they turn on automatically every night?

Yes — the built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor turns the lights on automatically when it gets dark and off again at sunrise. There is no switch or app required. Set them up once and they run themselves.

Where else can these be installed besides stairs?

The elongated shape fits stairs, fences, gutters, mailboxes, lanais, patios, driveways, and pool edges. Any smooth flat surface outdoors works — the adhesive holds firmly even on vertical surfaces.
