Choose from three lighting modes depending on how you want it to work. Always On keeps the lantern lit all night with a soft glow. Dim to Bright holds a dimmed base light and switches to full brightness when the motion sensor is triggered. Motion Activated turns the lantern on only when motion is detected, saving the most energy. The sensor picks up movement instantly and reacts within seconds.
